The best way to see a ranch is to drive through it, stopping to get out and view it all up close.

So that's what we do. From the comfort of ranch vehicles, we drive through our ranch, stopping where you can get up close to cattle, cattle tanks, cross-fenced pastures with central watering systems, wildlife, wildflowers, and surprises around the bend.

And the best way to do this is to be prepared for your visit.

Some suggestions:

• wear comfortable clothing suited for the out-of-doors and the weather. Jeans and slacks are a good idea as are closed-toe shoes and a jacket.
• you may want to bring caps or visors.
• don't forget sunscreen and insect repellant.
• please remember to pack your medications, particularly allergy meds.
• bring your camera.
