Nearly all of the Ranch is native prairie pasture, never sod busted, never changed. Native grasses and wildflowers and shrubs cover Ridder Hereford Ranch: Vervane and Prairie Coneflower and Spiderwort and Wild Rose; Prairie Dropseed, Indiangrass, Big and Littel Bluestem, and Blue Grama; and Sumac and Chokecherry.
