Featured lots included both the yearling carload bulls and the fall yearling pen bulls from the National Western Stock Show, Denver. Had several phone purchases thanks to some winter weather.

As we were recently honored by the American Hereford Assn. as Century Breeders, we in turn honored customers at this sale who have been ranching for many decades. Thanks to our customers throughout the years, we have entered our 2nd century.

R 157K North Star 50W for $9250 and ¾ interest to Stroh Herefords, ND.

R 157K North Star 5W for $7500 and ¾ interest to Struempler, NE.


High selling Fall Yearlings included:

R 0041 North Star 91U, a Harland sired bull for $4500 to Knippling Herefords, SD.


High selling Two-year-olds included:

R 157K North Star 53U for $5000 to Wemhoff, NE.

R 0041 North Star 7U for $5000 to Hadenfeldt, NE.


High selling Heifers included:

R Starlette 912 for $1200 to Texas Stardance, TX.

R Starlette 976 for $1000 to Zeller, NE.

Our annual bull and heifer sale brought shirt-sleeve sunny weather and solid interest in both bulls and heifers. Two years after we celebrated a century of ranching, we are now marking our 100th year in the purebred Hereford business.
  
High selling yearling bulls included:
Lot 40U, R 0041 North Star 40U, a 3/5/08 son of CJH L1 Domino 0041 sold to Doenz Ranches, Alberta, Canada for $10,500 (3/4 interest).
 
Lot 54U, R 157K North Star 54U, a 3/24/08 son of K 64H Ribstone Lad 157K sold to CK Ranch, KS for $7,500 (3/4 interest).
 
Lot 45U, R 157K North Star 45U, a 3/20/08 son of K 64H Ribstone Lad 157K sold to Knippling & Sons, SD for $7,000 (3/4 interest).
 
Lot 62U, R 157K North Star 62U, a 3/26/08 son of K 64H Ribstone Lad 157K sold to Phillip Moon & Lisa Sparrow, AR for $5,750.
 
High selling two year old bull was lot 48T, R 114L North Star 48T, a 3/23/07 son of AGA 13G General 114L sold to Smalls, NE for $5,000 (3/4 interest).
 
High selling heifers: Texas Stardance Cattle, TX bought 4 Registered heifers for $2,000 each. Lots 825 and 883 are daughters of CJH L1 Domino 0041. Lot 824 is out of SR Sandman 1088 and lot 877 is a daughter of SR Future 304.
