Many of the attributes that first attracted Grandpa Ridder to the breed are what drive today's demand for good Hereford cattle: feed efficiency, maternal strength, super dispositions, and other financially critical traits such as top carcass figures (example - our 157K sire), longevity of both cows and bulls, fertility, heterosis (see AHA's Heterosis Report), and all-around solid performance.
We are committed, first and foremost, to our commercial customers. The support of cow-calf producers, many who have themselves been in the Hereford business for several decades, is what keeps us in business and moving forward.
