2006

Our Spring Yearling Carload Bulls won first place at the 100th National Western Stock Show in Denver in January 2006. There was tremendous interest in Hereford Bulls in the "Yards" and our pen received a large number of visitors, some from Australia, Canada, South America, Mexico, and Europe in addition to many states. These bulls were in our 2/9/06 Sale (see Sale Information).

The "Yards" in Denver are a big deal to us. Partly because they're a link to our dad and grandad - they showed bulls in the Yards as early as the 1940's, shipping Bulls to Denver in a train car, hence the name Carload Bulls.

But we also respect the notion that one breeder can bring a group of uniform Bulls to the stock yards in the Mile High City and place them before seasoned cattlemen and women for their inspection.

John's been bringing carloads of Bulls to Denver for 4 decades now. Below are some images of our 2006 trip.
